New York-based AM Group, currently a minority partner in the redevelopment of the New Federal Cold Storage Building in the Strip District, has bought the 89,000-square-foot mill shed from a local family and is devising a plan to reconfigure it into new-era uses.

That calls for expanding the space to a total of 100,000 square feet on two levels, with ceilings of around 20 feet, although Adams emphasized there is opportunity to maintain a 50-foot ceiling for a portion of the space if a user comes forward that needed it.
